Quick Wedding

Good one Kon. I've just arrived back from a Scottish wedding which fortunately wasn't as hurried as the one on the video. The friends are old Symi friends and this was the last of their 3 sons to wed. "Uncle Kojak" used to slip them ice creams down at Pedi when they'd spent their pocket money and exhausted their fathers ration! The ceremony began at 2.30 and the last dance was played at 1.00am! I have not included the pre and post convivial get togethers at the bar. It's a rather bruised and sore Kojak who has arrived home. Despite shoulder problems I was hijacked onto the dance floor for eightsome reels, including a rather fiercesome "Strip the Willows". After several attempts to numb the pain with gin and tonics I retired hurt at 3.00am. Apparently the last of the few called it a day at 6.00am!

Yes. Sis. Unfortunately all the boys are married off now. I did suggest that our next excuse for a get-together could be a christening  - all 3 lads promptly changed the subject and did a runner! :D

It wouldn't be a real "Strip the Willows" without someone ricochetting off the wall! :o
