As I write this, the house is being turned into dust.

Hi Folks, OG I too have been feeling rather rough with a chest infection and a croup-like cough so although I've been logging on for news, I couldn't be arsed to submit anything or even remind you that you owe me mail !!!

Nice to hear from them again. Perhaps we will now see them on the Chat Page.

DH and I were sad to read about this in the paper this morning, Mille. DH has fond memories of playing a couple of gigs in Ungdomshuset when we lived in Denmark! A sad day for Copenhagen, indeed!

I'm still here - trying not to spend all day in the chat room when I should be getting some work done and counting down the days until we go to Halki at the end of may :geek:

I only wish I had "gone walkabout" - or at least been in a condition to do so. My recent absence was actually due to a very long-lasting bout of 'flu which kept me in bed for 10 days and then for another 10 days or so doing nothing much except sitting in an armchair and feeling sorry for myself. (I'd probably have felt less sorry if I'd signed on and found something interesting on the Chat Page - but there you are, that's life). Thankfully in the last couple of days I do seem to have shaken it off - I'd started to get worried that the virus was really stuck in my system and would still be with me when I go to Symi in 3 weeks' time.

Yes, I've quietly logged on in the past few days but without making any postings - my priority after any long period of absence is to catch up with the old threads that I've missed, but I usually feel that the time to add any comments to them has passed.

Hopefully I'm now my old self once again. 8-) 8-)
