That particular cat was unhappy at being denied any of Kevin's bacon. ;)

And yes Gemma1 you are likely to get more use out of your bikini than your walking boots this year. It is a bit cooler today but still stifling.

The lonely cloud wandered off after a few minutes and we are back to that boring wall-to-wall blue sky. ;)

it's a bit "cooler" according to the thermometer at 32 degrees today but the humidity is very high. It feels very hot indeed.

Sorry to hear about your bad weather Sooty. The blue skies will be waiting for you the next time you come to Symi, guaranteed!

Another day, another sunbed....

:D As it happens Allan - i think i will be on Symi next year - probably last week of august/first week of September. Putting a lot of thought into it as i have never travelled solo before and this would be a solo trip so for you solo Symi travellers tips on where to stay and where to eat would be good.
I take it that the photo shows your own tanned spades Allan - believe it or not i managed to get a flip-flop mark on my feet this year but boy was it hard work - nearly had pneumonia a couple of times in order to attain the light tan look!!!

I hope these pictures are whetting your appetite for next year Sooty. I am sure you will get a lot of advice about your first solo visit. Maybe you could start a new thread in the Noticeboard forum and see what happens?

Yes, they are my mucky feet. Most of that 'tan' washed off in the shower ;)

Just to show that I don't always have a Mythos in front of me, this is lemonade! In a jam jar -like container. :o

 Good idea Allan - will need lots of travel tips - so long since i travelled independently to Symi. As to lemonade in a jam-jar type receptacle - is there any other!!!!!? - i find it adds to the bouquet. :D

Great photo Allan.
Tell me how you get that nice fit - my insertions (excuse the term) appear rather big (ooo missus).

I re-size the images in Photoshop to 800X600 pixels before posting them. A bit of a faff whilst on holiday, I know.
I can re-size your big insertions :o on the server for you after you've uploaded them to save you the bother if you want. Just let me know.

Enjoy your holiday!

Hi again Allan,
Just downloaded an App that lets me resize on the iPad and uploaded a photo of the bakery which looks OK size wise.
If you could do something about that massive photo looking out from Margarita's that would be great.
Loving every minute of being here again.
Cheers.
