The Dimitroula was in harbour again today late morning on its way to Rhodes. It does two round trips a week, Pireas to Rhodes and back, leaving Pireas late afternoon Monday and Wednesday and arriving in Symi around midday the next day (plus late afternoon on its return leg from Rhodes).
Ironically in Greek the suffix -oula on a feminine noun denotes a diminutive: i.e. Dimitoula is "little Dimitria" .
That said, in Greek even more than in English the diminutive is used as a term of endearment as well as a reference to actual size.
And of course in any case size is relative: no doubt in Pireas harbour the Dimitroula does indeed look tiny alongside the really big ferries .
