To Symi with no bookings!!!!!

Just out of curiosity has anybody gone to Symi in the middle of summer with no booking and found accomodation,i'm asking this because i want to drag some cousins from Rhodes along with us while we are on Symi

Well Kon, it depends what you mean by the middle of summer. You will certainly struggle to find accommodation on or about August 15th; in the middle of August the island is usually full up.

Kon - I have done it in the past during August and struck fairly lucky. I say fairly, because we had a huge room, well furnished and spotless near the clock tower BUT, sadly no view.

However, it is a risk and if you know when you are going to arrive, I think it�s better to book ahead.
