Quite right too Adriana. What a fabulous place to stay. We stayed there for years whilst our son was young during the 80's. It was in the days when the road outside was all potholes, long before the Nireus was built, and you could sit outside the Aliki all night drinking and chatting, with no sound apart from the lapping of the water on the steps, and the occasional goat bell and a donkey braying somewhere in the distance. You could help yourself to wine from the fridge, and tell the lovely George how much you'd had the next morning! Oh happy days.
Now we always stay in a villa, but we were broken-hearted when we passed by the Aliki one day and saw they'd painted all that lovely wooden interior green! But there you go. Wonder if the President had our old room, A3.
