I think this is my 12th year and I've been going twice a year for the last 6 years or so.....

So probably somewhere between 16-20 times.

I haven't actually been to Symi that many times. Only 3 times in total: 1988 (my honeymoon!), 1990 and 1992. DH and I are debating on whether or not to return, but I fear it will have changed too much and lost much of its charm. Particularly don't like the sound of all the traffic. Last time we were there, there was just the bus, a couple of taxis and one bloke on a trials bike!

We first did the day trip in 1996 and have been back at least once, sometimes twice, each year since.

Actually, I went 3 times last year

Have only been there four times. First time was WAY back in 1987, when I was a thin gorgeous teen

Then again in 88
My honeymoon in 99 and again this year. Came back 3 weeks ago :cry:

Sapphy, you can go back. It's still lovely as ever. You and DH should go back on a second honeymoon (you wont see much then ;-)

12 or 13 times I think between 1982 and 1997. Lots of changes over those years and still track them avidly on this site. Once I retire and can come in the cooler months of May/June and September/October I hope to return.

We first went for a week in June 2004, it was a toss up between Symi and Halki. Decided on Symi. Enjoyed it that much went back in September for 2 weeks. Dreamed about it all last year, though we went island hopping round the Cyclades instead.
Ended up having a week there last week, and still love it. Hope to have many more visits.

I think we have been about seven times but we do go to a lot of other places, some repeats because, like Symi, why go to different places all the time when you find a place you love? Off for a cruise round Britain on a big American ship on Monday. Calling in on Greenock so if I spot the McSporrans I'll gie them a wee wave.

Lost count now. First discovered in about 96 on a Micros Cosmos cruise, then 4 or 5 years staying up in Chorio for 2 weeks at a time. Last 3 or 4 years twice a year.Must be well over a dozen now, probably nearer 15 or 18. Still finding new aspects to the island, and new friends and have'nt upset any old ones yet. So it doesn't really matter how many times, just that we've enjoyed every time and still look forward to coming back. Just 6 days to go!

Dunno if this is going to work, first time I've driven this thing.
looking thru old passports went to Symi, 86, 87 (all summer),89,91,93,95, 96, 97,99, 01.
Will try to get back next year, so long as i don't have to wear body armour

Right, now I'm going to push button and see what happens. :geek:
