Got the prognosis and biopsy results and about 42 metres of printouts from the six litres of blood they seemed to take. It isn't going to go away, only get progressively worse but the medication - prescription drugs, honestly, Officer - have slowed it right down.
and will keep the discomfort manageable.
When I asked if it was okay to collect a 2007 holiday brochure on the way home rather than save my money for a free ham tea for the family he frowned at my flippancy so I asked him whether it was better to laugh than cry - good job he wasn't a psychiatrist, he'd have had me in one of those canvas jackets with the buttons at the back !
