So, all the little piglets got home safely. Rather wet in the north east Saturday evening. How many pairs of boots to go C?

The weather was good enough for Dom to enjoy the return run by Grasmere, Thirlmere and Windermere as he hadn't seen those places before.

Memories :)

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vale and hill
When all at once in socks so loud
A naked man, Oh! what a thrill
Beside the lake beneath the trees
Imbibing Mythos, shooting breeze

Oh such a sight one cannot see
Except perhaps on fair Symi

:P

With deep apologies to dear old W.W.

Bards of passion and of mirth
Give me ouzo here on earth
Gift me socks and Mythos plenty
And Retsina to dement me
Kojak naked in the lake?
I never would!.. for heaven's sake!

One thing about our Symi sect
It hosts a mass of intellect.

A great time was had by all of us, though when we were on the boat on Derwentwater we declined to dangle our legs over the edge like we do when out with Captain Gorgeous!! Kojak Tours came up trumps, with the Christmas lights being switched on outside our hotel in Keswick on friday night, a food market on all day and evening and he even arranged glorious weather for us 8-) - yes sunglasses were called for! Well done Norman. As for boots Willie, I was a good girl and threw an old pair away when I brought the new ones home.

Imbibe sufficient Mythos beer
And thus become a budding seer
Then when you get some verbal knocks
Remember please those lurid socks

MacDuff 2010

P.S. Oddly enough, in India a seer is a liquid measure - about a litre. So go try soak your socks in a seer of beer Kojak :P

Anybody for drinkies :?:
