Married at last!

Regular visitors to Symi Bernard and Gillian Leecy cutting the cake at their wedding. It only took Bernard 24 years to pop the question! We had a gathering of 8 regular Symi visitors at the wedding. We all met on Symi and have remained friends ever since. This is the first time we've all been dressed!

An absolutely fab wedding, and a great reunion for those of us who usually only see each other in Symi. Gillian and Bernard, when you read this after the honeymoon, thanks so much, that was a top day, and don't we all scrub up well!

And in case anyone is wondering Kojak was sporting some very snazzy socks.Good luck with the Icelandic dust mate

Got a reasonable photo of Gill but most of my wedding snaps were poor because the daylight flooding in the huge windows at Ewood Park, got one of Symi guests though[img]http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3342/4640069662_39c19580b5.jpg[/img]

A big thankyou for all your best wishes.
Sorry it as taken so long life as been hectic. it was nice to get 10 Symi friends together of whom some have never met before.
Norm your fame had gone before John and Sandra from nearby Chorley had never met but have heard some much about you. We have talked many a time on the phone and met at tesco's but Bernard hasn't seenfor about 7 years. yOU all helped to make our day so special and unforgotton. I can still taste that Lancashire hotpot. Colette don't forget you have job to do in arranging our next get together can't wait. Oh I forgot a BIG THANKYOU for all you did on the day

It was a great day, Gill and so good for us to all meet up. Colette, you have to compell us to have a get-together. We've talke about it for years so that's your task when you join the ranks of the retired. One more week for you at work I think!

Ok Ok, I'm under pressure now (as Freddie sang) just give me a couple of weeks lolling around and doing . all and then I'll be on the case.. If any other Symi recidivists fancy a meet up in the North in autumn/winter please let me know - we are thinking about the Lake District and I've found a website for what looks like a good venue in Keswick, a pub that does B and B - sounds Ok to me.
