What Football? No TV so it is bliss :-)
Have to avoid some pubs as we hate Big screen TV,s showing Football all the time.
Pubs are for talking, drinking, eating and socialising not for staring at a screen and occasionally shouting at it.
Domino's anyone?

One bonus about the glut of 22 men kicking a ball about is that I'm catching up with stuff I recorded! :D

Sheer misery. The football is bad enough but the Vuvuzela is 100 times worse. It is "doing my head in". A month of that incessant noise is going to make me very crabbit indeed  Only saving grace is Wimbledon starts soon, but then again no doubt will cause a few rows in the house as we only have one television, and Murray needs a good shake. If he continues to play like he has been doing don't see him getting very far.
Can you tell my tolerance levels are waning fast :)

Andy is biding his time - you see he will storm through wimbledon. Lad is just keeping his powder dry.

I have to confess that in years gone by when we had a TV it would be moved under the apple tree so that my ex Wife could watch Wimbledon and not miss the sunshine.
I still Love the Ladies matches, but the Mens only seem to rely on the speed of the serve and have no lovely long rallies any more.
Sigh, I must be getting old.

SUNSHINE :) Strawberries and Cream  What has this got to do with Wimbledon :?:

We have reports here that the vuvuzela may be banned by FIFA, best thing they could do, 'cos what a cacophony :o

Nivver thocht 'at I wid wish England "GOOD" luck

Being a Canadian of Scots origin, one can at least relax and watch the World Cup games without fear or trepidation - can even keep a steady hand whaen quaffing the appropriate beverage(s)

As for the U.S. achieving a draw with England, at least two U.S. newspapers reported that in I understand the "Believe it or not" column by Ripley

When the England captain got a hurty knee before they'd even started playing, I did comment on Facebook that it would save a lot of money if they just brought the whole team back home then... :D

:) SUNSHINE, STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM - 8-) A must during Wimbledon along with a glass of Pimms. Without these extras it would be like Christmas without a tree, crackers and clootie dumpling! ;)
