I'm here, having a really great time..No Mozzies at all, but my room is on the second floor, and l vaguely remembered something about Mozzies never flying higher than a certain height. Having lived 16 yrs in the med..l became quite the, Mozzies expert ! (Basil plant on every windowsill....oil plug in's kept permanently plugged in ! And, absolutely, never leave the windows open, with the inside/outside lights on !.
With that in mind.. I've been 100% Mosquito freeee !!
Just had a fab day on the Diagoris Boat trip - brilliant !
Ps....Living up to my username, me got some Flapfjack thingy's for The Kojak -Colette gang!

I'm staying at THE ALBATROSS HOTEL, just a tad back from the Symi Visitor webcam.
Delightful small hotel (4 rooms) run by the equally delightful, Fabienne, and her Greek husband and son.
Great price too, as a single supplement in a double room with a balcony with a side sea view.
Looking forward very much, to meeting Colette, Kojak etc...should be a laugh, as l don't know what they look like..and visa versa !

I think the description I was given of Kojak before I met him was "he's got a bald head and always wears socks with his sandals." I kept missing him in the village on that trip though finally got to meet him on the way back to the airport on the way home - at least I knew who he was for the next trip ;)

Hope you all have a great time, we arrive on the 2nd, so don,t drink the island dry please.
I blamed Kojak for the lack of Gin in the supermarket last year, something he hotly denied.

one way to identify Kojak is by his 'posh' Gordie accent, you'll no doubt hear his voice booming across a table at the Rainbow :D Oh and to add to his description, he wears glasses 8-) 8-)

Hope you manage to bump into him and the rest of the gang, but beware going down the Kalistrata with him after a dew drinkies :o

Have a wonderful time.

Smokes like a chimney, drink likes a fish and occasionally takes on solids! Hope that helps.

Last Sunday there was a mysterious sight in Pedi....

The Panormitis arrived with the usual cargo of building materials. In addition there were a few pallets of Mythos and water seen to unloaded. Someone suggested that there was a label on a pallet of beer "Kojak's beer supplies"!!!
