Boat hire

hi,
I've been going to Symi twice a year for ten years yet have never thought of hiring a little boat like the ones by the clock tower.I may this time though.Does anyone know how much they cost and do they supply life jackets etc.

A few years ago we were given a 'lift' back to Yialos from Nimborio by two other visitors in a little boat. I believe they had hired it from the Aliki Hotel (they weren't staying there incidentally). Hi. I rented a boat from Aliki Hotel back in 2012. I found it ridiculously expensive, but did anyway. I think I paid 70 Euros + petrol. Had to pay for the whole day, although I was only going to use it for a few hours. The tank was almost empty, so I had to fill it twice, before and after. There was a life jacket in the front compartment.But it was very nice to visit the beaches down the coast on my own...

Like you I've always looked at the little boats for hire by the Clock Tower but never hired one
I'm going to Symi on Wednesday I'll try to remember to ask and post the price

60€ a day for a 4 person boat and 100€ a day for a larger 6 pers boat
