Here in our small rural village of Llanddeiniol our post code covers quite a lot of properties in an area of lanes, tracks and small roads. House names help if they are visible from the road but we do get knocks at the door from delivery vans, new posties, etc. trying to find a property (often more complicated by a Welsh name). What3Words by mapping the globe with a matrix of small squares and providing each with a unique three word reference makes it far easier for a delivery van if say the likes of DPD used the W3W addressing convention rather than the normal postal address.
D admits that the lack of a logical connection between the three words and the place threw him to begin with as he was looking for a link when none existed.
If loads of users adopt the W3W concept then it could change the way we find places.
We think that's it

So does this point to a place on Symi Allan?
