Symi Where to watch World Cup football please?

Hi all we staying at Taxiarchis studios Symi arrive in Rhodes on Wednesday evening about 7.00 pm 27th July with Olympic and presume we will stay in Rhodes over night before catching morning ferry on Thursday. Not sure of time?
It will be our 5 Symi holiday but have not been since 2015.
Do you know of any bars in Chlorio whee I will be able to watch England Belgium match on 28th July?
Are the sunrise bar and secret garden still open?

Hi and welcome.

If you don't arrive until 7pm you will indeed spend the first night on Rhodes. Which ferry you are on the following morning will be up to Olympic. They are likely to put you on the cheapest ferry which will rule out the 08.30 high speed catamaran. You are likely to be on the later Panagia Skiadeni which arrives on Symi at around 11am.

Both of the "main" bars in Chorio are showing the World Cup matches with a choice of two TVs in the Rainbow Bar so I'm sure you will have no trouble finding somewhere to watch the match you want.

Yes, both the Sunrise and Secret Garden are still open and by the time you arrive the revamped Manteio should have opened too so there is plenty of choice in Chorio.
