Always happy to see another means of spending time in paradise - will take a look and see how they compare.

Although we are sorted for both our visits this year E was browsing the Jet2 site today and day flights for our dates in September were well over what we have paid EasyJet - roughly Jet2 was over £1k to EasyJets £650 for both of us with hold luggage.
OK so Jet2 was from Liverpool and was flying out 2pm, so stop over Rhodes on the way out, and back on an afternoon flight whilst we fly out 7am from Bristol and get to Symi same day and return in the afternoon also.
The thing with flights is it is all about timing and I’m sure AndyW could write a book on this. We have even seen graphs on the internet that show low prices when tickets first go on sale then steadily rising depending on demand and dropping closer to departure if seats aren’t selling.
We would like to be “last-minuters” but alas we like to be sorted well in advance and instead try and grab the early prices.

Agree we like to be sorted out early. I looked at like for like with Jet2 as a holiday package and it's £1200 dearer and not an accommodation we would choose, certainly not a cheap option. Anyway happy planning for this year you two :)

We were prompted to look at Jet2 packages but have also found that they are considerably more expensive than booking independently and using easyJet flights. This year we may risk a late booking . . .
