Yes, it was a year ago today that Mike "floated the idea" of the Symi Visitor Live Chat page.

Twelve months on I think it can be declared a resounding success!

We were wondering whose fault it was. So we can't blame you and Mille for everything after all. At least we haven't had Kojak singing to us yet as was threatened when the Voice Chat option reared its ugly head.
Apart from that, yes, I agree, it has been a great success and we have got a lot of fun out of it. It is about time that the members were reminded of this facility(?). I think the record is 8 people on at one time. Let's hope that a few more risk their reputations by turning up occasionally. Come and be insulted like the rest of us. 22:00 until 24:00 GMT/ BST is the most likely time to find someone around.

Sometimes I have to be strict with myself and not go in there because once I'm there, I seem to be in for ages and then I'm cross with myself because I've not achieved all the things I was supposed to do.....but then again the tonic I've had from chatting and laughing with my fellow Symi lovers in has been far more beneficial than getting the housework done .

Happy Birthday to Live Chat. Intellectual conversation, intelligent people, wit, repartee... we've got none of that but come and join us anyway! (and keep that damned cat out of there)

Actually, as the poor thing has weak lungs (takes after my side of the family) and wheezes and creaks in cold weather he has just been renamed Stockhausen!
