Looks as if the camera has lost power. Perhaps Adriana will give the dodgy plug a bit of a waggle when she has time.

Why do they still make those silly superheavy plugs with spindly little pins? Our Speedtouch box has a similar arrangement and has to be strategically balanced against the leg of the desk to maintain the connection.

The heavy plugs / spindly pins thing is easily fixed - have three big chunky pins on the heavy plug and a socket to match.

Means moving to the UK though!

Try a dab of Blue Tack on the plug - well away from the pins of course

Hmm or I could move back to South Africa where they still use fat three pinned plugs...

But it wouldn't help because thanks to cable theft power cuts are rife so the webcam still wouldn't work...

I was sitting at work today with a cuppa and watched a vessel dock,ahh the wonders of cyber space.

Cyberspace is ok Kon, but not as good as the real thing, which I'll be able to watch with a "cuppa" myself from Wednesday...

I can think of quite a few electricians who put bits of tin foil in the fuse box...

Wasn't a house on Symi gutted by fire a couple of years ago as the result of an electrical fault?
